The Benefits of Gratitude
Sabi ng The Message Bible version, “Then he said to him, ‘Get up. On your way. Your faith has healed and saved you.’”
May mahahalagang benefits ang pagiging grateful. Gratitude attracts the attention of Jesus. Saying the three words “Thank You, Jesus!” also encourages us. It will uplift you as the Holy Spirit opens your mind to God’s goodness. Kaya your mind can shift from negative thoughts to the many things that you can be grateful for. That one grateful leper received the revelation that he was not only healed but he was also saved! He was made whole by Jesus.
Dear Lord, thank You for all the blessings that I have received and continue to receive from You. Help me to stop complaining, and being envious and jealous of my neighbors. Pinagsisisihan ko na po ang pagiging ungrateful. Kaya dear Holy Spirit, please give me a grateful heart. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Make it a habit before you sleep to thank the Lord for at least 3 blessings you received during the day. Thank the Lord even for the trials because You know that God can turn them into good. Encourage the people around you by saying that you believe God will see you through these trials.
