Thank you for joining us in our series “God Commands Us to Love One Another.” Today, let’s see what God’s Word says about loving our parents.

But God’s word tells us to honor our father and mother.

Even if Jesus is God, He honored His earthly parents noong nabuhay Siya sa mundo. So how come we exempt ourselves from this mandate? As long as what they’re asking from us is not morally wrong, then we are to honor them. Honoring them is one way to show that we love them. Remember, may pa-bonus pa si God because this is the first commandment with a promise and that is, we would have a long and satisfied life. Oh, what a blessing!

Honoring our parents is one way to show our love for them. Bukas naman, mga mister, let’s discover how a husband can show his love to his wife sa pagpapatuloy ng series natin na “God Commands Us to Love One Another”.

LET’S PRAY

Continue to bless them. Give me the grace to love and honor them at all times as I desire to love and honor You as well. In Jesus name, Amen.

APPLICATION

Maaaring sweet words, an act of kindness, or a simple gift to let them know how much you appreciate them. At huwag kalimutang mag-swipe left, para isama ang pangalan nila sa prayer list because prayer is the greatest blessing you can give them.
