His name is Usain Bolt, a Jamaican runner and eight-time Olympic gold medalist who holds the record for running 100 miles in 9.58 seconds. To give you an idea kung gaano kabilis iyon, imagine covering the distance of 34 feet per second.

What if maging kasimbilis mong tumakbo si Usain Bolt?

Whatever you do, make sure na you will use your feet for good. Isa sa mga hate na hate ni Lord ay ang “feet that are quick to rush into evil” (Proverbs 6:18, NIV). These are people who move too fast in doing things that dishonor God.

Isa na rito si Elmer. When he found out na may nago-offer ng 5,000 para magpost ng fake news tungkol sa isang kandidato, umoo siya agad.

If you want to show how much you love God, be careful where your feet take you. Sure, it’s great to be fast. But don’t be as fast as Usain Bolt in going somewhere to do evil. In fact, don’t even think about walking towards it at all.

Saanman kayo magpunta, basta may cellphone kayo at data, mabilis ninyo kaming mapapakinggan dito sa Tanglaw. We hope you’ll tune in again tomorrow for our series “Hate ni Lord ‘Yan!”

LET’S PRAY

Dear God, I am all Yours, including my body, soul, and spirit. May I always be sensitive to Your calling, always ready to go to where You want me to be.

APPLICATION

Think about the places you visited this week. Ask God to stop your feet from going there next time. Honor Him by avoiding evil.
