Kaya’t huwag tayong mag-atubiling lumapit sa trono ng mahabaging Diyos upang makamtan natin ang habag at kalinga sa panahon ng ating pangangailangan.

Have you ever felt so lonely that even if there are many good things na nangyayari sa paligid mo, you don’t seem to care? Do you ever cry yourself to sleep because of the pain of feeling so alone in the world and thinking that nobody really understands you?

Loneliness, according to Psychology Today, “is the state of distress or discomfort that results when one perceives a gap between one’s desires for social connection and actual experiences of it.” No one is immune to it. Lahat ng tao, posibleng makaranas nito.

Did you know that Jesus can understand you in your moment of loneliness? How? Because He became human Himself and He experienced being despised and rejected (Isaiah 53:3); even His own brothers did not believe Him (John 7:5); at higit sa lahat, He felt that the Heavenly Father Himself had forsaken Him (Matthew 27:46).

There are many things na pwedeng maging cause ng loneliness pero ang sarap isipin na may nakakaintindi sa atin when we go through it. Hindi lang nakahanda si Jesus na tayo ay samahan sa ating kalungkutan, He even died on the cross for our sins (1 Peter 2:24) so we can live with hope. Remember that You are not alone. Jesus understands you. He will help you wake up again tomorrow and fill you with much-needed hope.
